Stations of the Cross
Here is a sample of images taken from the Stations of the Cross at Wintershall.
The stations depict Jesus’ final hours, as he walks with his cross up the hill to the Place of the Skull.
The beauty of the natural setting in which these sculptures are placed, brings another dimension to this account of Jesus’ death.

Station 8. The Women of Jerusalem
A lot of people were against Jesus, but a lot of people followed him. They were his faithful friends. Some of them were sad at what was happening to him and they cried for him.
Prayer: Help me to be a faithful friend. When my friends are going through a hard time or are being made fun of, I want to help them and be a true friend
Station 15. The Resurrection
The Stations of the Cross traditionally finish with Station 14: Jesus laid in the tomb.
At Wintershall, you can continue your walk up to the top of the hill and enjoy the stunning Surrey views, as you reflect on the Resurrection.
