On Good Friday and Easter Saturday, over 20,000 people gather to watch the Easter story in both central London, and Guildford High Street
One hundred Wintershall players perform their electric and moving portrayal of the final days of Jesus. The performance begins with the Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem, and includes key moments such as Jesus’s visit to the Temple, The Last Supper, the Garden of Gethsemane and Judas’ betrayal. Following the Trial of Jesus, there is a realistic interpretation of the Crucifixion and the performance finishes with scenes including The Empty Tomb, Mary Magdalene in the Garden and Doubting Thomas.
No tickets are required but please check the website for performance times. This performance is available as a LIVE stream. Due to the detailed portrayal of the Crucifixion, parental guidance is advised.
