Why do I want to tell this story?
The story of Jesus and his teachings have meant such a great deal to me. I was brought up a Catholic, going to Mass every Sunday, listening to the Gospels; BUT it really wasn’t until I started performing in the Passion, Nativity and Life of Christ at Wintershall that the Gospels came alive for me. I want audiences to be able to ‘live’ the Gospels too. To experience the joy, understanding and incredible journey that Jesus went through for us. This is what the play/drama can do, bring the ‘story ‘ to life, it becomes real as we cast and audience follow Jesus and listen to his teachings.
Why give up your time and energy to be involved?
I honestly don’t feel it is ‘giving up time’ rather, wanting to share the great message that Jesus wants to share with us. The message of peace and love for everyone. What better way could there be to spend time and energy. I feel it is such a privilege to be able to share in such exciting and truthful plays, I can honestly say I feel blessed to be part of the Wintershall plays.
