Wintershall Education is delighted to offer assemblies for Primary and Secondary Schools led by costumed Wintershall actors.
Our unique assemblies
Wintershall actors will visit your school in costume and perform scenes from ‘The Life of Christ’ as 15 minute assemblies. Actors also share their experiences of acting out the Gospels, highlighting links with Christian virtues.
Typical 15 minute assembly outline
|GATHER||A school representative introduces the theme. Images from ‘The Life of Christ’ annual production provide a backdrop.|
|INSPIRE||Actors arrive in costume and perform their ten minute dramatisation of the Gospel scene.|
|EXPLORE||Afterwards they explain what it is like to act in Wintershall productions about The Life of Christ and highlight links with Christian values in the scene.|
|REFLECT||Take a moment – pupils are encouraged to be still and quiet to think about the message that is communicated through the drama and the questions that the actors pose.|
|SEND||Specially written prayers are suggested to close the assembly.|
